On Friday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Ms Gemma Jones, Editor, The Advertiser, followed by a breakfast.

Later the Governor received Mr Michael Wait SC, Solicitor-General for South Australia.

In the evening at the Adelaide Oval, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the South Australian Ice Factor Federation's Ice Factor Spectacular.

During the day members of The Ladies Probus Club of the Southern Vales and students from Thebarton Senior College toured Government House.
