On Saturday afternoon at Gladys Elphick Park / Narnungga (Park 25), Her Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests and placed a wreath at the rededication of the WWI Railway Workers Memorial organised by the Royal Australian Engineers Central Region. The refurbishment of the memorial was undertaken by the City of Adelaide.

Later at West Lakes, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests and officiated at the christening and naming of the three new Walford Rowing Boats and naming of a Walford Quad Scull "The Frances Adamson" in her honour organised by Walford Anglican School for Girls.

In the evening at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guest at the Cara Celebrates Gala Dinner.
