On Friday morning in London, Her Excellency the Governor met with Alderman Nicholas Lyons, The Right Honourable The Lord Mayor of the City of London, and Mrs Felicity Lyons.
Later, in London, Her Excellency was interviewed by Channel 7 presenter Rosanna Mangiarelli.
In the afternoon, the Governor attended a luncheon hosted by The Right Honourable Anne-Marie Trevelyan MP, Minister of State in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
Later, at Buckingham Palace, the Governor attended a Reception for Overseas Representatives hosted by Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla in advance of their coronation.
During the day, the grounds of Government House were opened to members of the public to attend a garden tour conducted by The Friends of the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide, of which the Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons, followed by a lunch time concert on the lawns with performances by the 10th/27th Battalion, Royal South Australian Regiment, and members of the State Opera South Australia.
