On Thursday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor was interviewed by Mr Matthew Pantelis, Presenter, 5AA.
Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.
In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor hosted a luncheon for Ambassadors and other representatives of NATO member states making an official visit to Adelaide.
Later, the Governor departed for the United Kingdom to attend the Coronation of Their Majesties The King and Queen.
During the day at Government House, History Teaching and Civics Students from the University of South Australia toured Government House.
Her Excellency the Governor has appointed The Honourable Chief Justice Chris Kourakis to be Governor’s Deputy from 3:30pm on Thursday, 3 May 2023 until 7pm on Tuesday, 9 May 2023.
The grounds of Government House will be open to the public on Friday, 5 May 2023 from noon until 2pm for Lunch on the Lawns, with performances by the 10th/27th Battalion, Royal South Australian Regiment, and members of the State Opera South Australia.
Books for members of the public to inscribe messages of congratulations to Their Majesties The King and Queen will be available from noon today until 4pm on Sunday 21st May.
