On Friday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Mr Luke Dollman, Dean, International and Engagement, College of Creative Arts, Design and Humanities, Adelaide University.

Afterwards, the Governor received Dr Kylie Heneker, Commissioner for Children and Young People.

In the afternoon, the Governor hosted a luncheon for the Harrison Riedel Foundation. Guests were The Honourable Nadia Clancy MP, Assistant Minister for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention, and Chair, South Australian Suicide Prevention Council; The Honourable Dennis Hood MLC, representing the Shadow Minister for Health and Wellbeing; Ms Taimi Allan, SA Mental Health Commissioner; Mrs Yasmin Allen AM, Chair, Harrison Riedel Foundation; Mrs Amanda Riedel, CEO, Harrison Riedel Foundation; Ms Kay Burton, Founder, SA Philanthropy Network; Mr John Mannion, CEO, Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation; Mrs Islay Mackenzie, Director, Jumbuck Pastoral; Ms Anne Dunstan, CE, Association of Independent Schools; Dr Neil McGoran, Executive Director, Catholic Education South Australia; Ms Natalie Matulick, CEO, Youth Affairs Council of South Australia; Mr Tim Crowley, Nursing Director, and Dr Mohammed Usman, Clinical Director, (CAMHS) Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS); Ms Dianna Smith-McCue, Director, Consumer and Community Engagement, Women's and Children's Hospital; and Ms Alexandra Riedel, Youth Ambassador, Harrison Riedel Foundation.

Afterwards, the Governor spoke by telephone to Ms Sarah Hender.

In the evening, at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests at the Farewell Dinner for Professor David Lloyd, Vice Chancellor and President, University of South Australia.

During the day, the Governor and Mr Bunten opened the grounds of Government House to members of the public to attend garden tours conducted by The Friends of the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide, of which the Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons, and for Lunch on the Lawns, with music provided by the City of Adelaide Concert Band.
