On Monday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor spoke by telephone to The Honourable Margaret Nyland AM.
Afterwards, the Governor received Dame Sarah MacIntosh DCMG, British High Commissioner to Australia; Mr Martin Kent, His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for Asia Pacific; Mr Steph Lysaght, British Consul General to South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania; and Lieutenant Colonel of the Royal Marines Olly Gray, Naval Advisor, British High Commission.
In the afternoon, at the State Library of South Australia, the Governor and Mr Bunten met Ms Megan Berghius, Director, State Library of South Australia, and were escorted on a tour of ‘Rear Vision: The Holden Collection’.
Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor received Mr Tokuro Furuya, Consul-General of Japan.
Later, the Governor hosted a reception for the presentation of the 2025 Charles Allan Seymour Hawker Scholarships.
In the evening, at the Adina Hotel, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended a function hosted by Ms Ruth Mackenzie CBE, former Artistic Director, Adelaide Festival.
