On Monday morning, in Okayama, Her Excellency the Governor visited Okayama Gakugeikan High School, where she spoke with students and staff, before departing for Tokyo.

In the afternoon, at the Australian Embassy Tokyo, the Governor met Dr Hiroshi Yamakawa, President, Mr Yasuo Ishii, Senior Vice President, and Dr Masaki Fujimoto, Director-General,, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).

Afterwards, the Governor addressed the guests at the ‘Advancing Space Together: A Japan-South Australia Space Dialogue’ seminar.

Later, at the Institute of Science Tokyo, the Governor met Mr Nobuhiro Hayashi, Vice President for International Engagement and Education, and Ms Junko Morikawa, Vice President for International Strategy and Engagement, Institute of Science Tokyo.

Afterwards, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, the Governor met Her Excellency Ms Yuriko Koike, Governor of Tokyo.

In the evening, at the Ambassador’s Residence, the Governor addressed the guests at the South Australia Food and Wine Showcase.
