On Tuesday morning, in Toyko, Her Excellency the Governor addressed the guests at the Australia New Zealand Japan Chamber of Commerce Business Women’s Breakfast.

Afterwards, the Governor visited Koishikawa Secondary Education School, where she spoke with students and staff.

In the afternoon, the Governor attended a roundtable meeting to discuss tech-innovation with representatives from the Beyond Makers Program.

Afterwards, at teamLAB Borderless, the Governor met Mr Takashi Kudo, Global Brand Director, teamLab, and was briefed on operations.

Later, at the Mori Building, the Governor and addressed the guests a reception for the Diplomatic Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Basic Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between Japan and Australia.

Afterwards, the Governor met Mr Horii Iwoa, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Liberal Democratic Party of Japan, Member of the House of Councillors – Nara Electoral District and, afterwards, with representatives from the Japan-Australia Diet League.

In the evening, the Governor, who is patron of StudyAdelaide, addressed the guests at a StudyAdelaide Education Partner Appreciation event.
