On Monday morning, in Kimba, Her Excellency the Governor met students and staff from Kimba Area School.

Afterwards, in Wudinna, the Governor visited Wudinna Area School, where she toured the school and spoke with students and staff, before departing for Karcultaby.

Later, in Karcultaby, the Governor visited Karcultaby Area School, where she spoke with students and staff, before returning to Wudinna.

Afterwards, at the Wudinna District Council, the Governor met Mrs Eleanor Scholz, Mayor, Mr Calvin Joye, Acting Chief Executive Officer, and Mr Matthew Hawson, Wudinna District Council, and was briefed on the council, followed by a tour of the township, including the Australian Farmer statue, Wudinna and Districts Telecentre, Men’s Shed, and housing development site.

Later, at the Wudinna Community Club, the Governor attended an afternoon tea with elected members and community members.

Afterwards, the Governor spoke by telephone to Ms Meghan Quinn PSM, Secretary, Commonwealth Department of Industry, Science, and Resources.

In the evening, at the Wudinna Hotel Motel Restaurant, the Governor hosted a dinner for Wudinna District Council representatives.
