On Tuesday morning, Her Excellency the Governor continued her visit to the Wudinna District and Lower Eyre Councils, where, in Lock, she met students and staff from Lock Area School, before departing for Cummins.
Afterwards, in Cummins, the Governor met Mrs Jo-Anne Quigley, Mayor, and Ms Delfina Lanzilli, Chief Executive Officer, Lower Eyre Council, followed by a tour of the Cummins Residential Land Development Site, the Cummins Joint Facilities building, followed in the afternoon by lunch at the Five Loaves Bakery.
Afterwards, at the Cummins Institute Hall, the Governor met with the Cummins Mosaic Group, and toured the Mosaic Room, before departing for Greenly Beach and Coles Point.
Later, at Greenly Beach and Coles Point, the Governor received a tour of the coastline and campgrounds, before departing for Coffin Bay, where, at Angel Oysters, the Governor was briefed on operations and toured the facility.
Later, at the Coffin Bay Foreshore, the Governor received a briefing and a tour of the revitalisation project.
Afterwards, at Oyster HQ, the Governor took part in an oyster tasting, followed by a dinner for Lower Eyre Council representatives.
