On Monday morning at Government House, Mr Bunten, as patronof the Adelaide Harmony Choir, received Mrs Vivienne Rusk, President of the Choir, and Ms Margaret Hosking, its Secretary.

In the afternoon at the National Wine Centre of Australia, Her Excellency the Governor addressed the gathering at an NGO luncheon hosted by the Australia Day Council of South Australia.

Later at Government House, the Governor received His Excellency Mr Kwok Fook Seng, High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore, and Ms Leanne Tay, First Secretary (Political) at the High Commission.

In the evening the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a dinner for His Excellency Mr Kwok Fook Seng and Mrs Pearl Kwok. Guests included The Honourable Steven Marshall MP, Premier of South Australia; The Honourable Zoe Bettison MP, representing the Leader of the Opposition; Professor Peter Høj AC, Vice-Chancellor and President, University of Adelaide; Mr Sean Keenihan, Chair, StudyAdelaide; Mr Brenton Cox, Managing Director, Adelaide Airport; Mr Michael Luchich, State Director, South Australia & Northern Territory, Optus Enterprise; Mr Jim McDowell, Chief Executive Officer, Nova Systems; Mr Grant Kelley, Chairman, Holdfast Assets; Mr Jonathon Lee, Senior Manager, Chip Eng Seng Australia; and Ms Leanne Tay.

Also in the evening, at Novar Gardens, Dr James Muecke AM, Lieutenant Governor of South Australia, delivered a speech on behalf of Excellency at the annual Proclamation Day celebration hosted by The Pioneers Association of South Australia, of which Her Excellency is patron.
