On Monday morning, at the Adelaide Convention Centre, Her Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, presented the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2026 NAIDOC SA Community Awards Lunch.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor received Mr Toby Priest MP, Member for Morphett.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Bunten welcomed participants in the inaugural Illuminate Paws Walk, a collaboration between Illuminate Adelaide and RSPCA SA, to the grounds of Government House to view The Origin of the World by Miguel Chevalier, part of Illuminate Adelaide 2026. The Governor is patron of RSPCA SA.
