On Tuesday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Ms Jenni Mitton MP, Member for Mawson.

Afterwards, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a morning tea for members of the Leaders Institute of South Australia’s Governor’s Leadership Foundation Alumni Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Group, as part of NAIDOC Week 2026. The Governor is patron of the Leaders Institute.

Later, at the Naval, Military and Air Force Club of South Australia, the Governor, as patron of the Lyceum Club Adelaide, cut the cake at a luncheon in celebration of the Lyceum Club Adelaide’s 104th birthday.

In the afternoon, the Governor, in her capacity as Deputy Prior of the Order of St John, officiated at an investiture to admit new members to the Order.

In the evening, at Prospect Library, the Governor took part an in-conversation event with Dr Lachlan Strahan, author of ‘The Curious Diplomat’, hosted by the Australian Institute of International Affairs (SA).
