On Monday morning, Her Excellency the Governor continued her visit to the South East, where, at Mount Gambier High School, she met Mr Kym Grant, Principal, and Miss Annapurna Anbu, School Captain; and spoke to school leaders and students.

Later, at Grant High School, the Governor met Ms Caroline Davey, Principal, and spoke to School Captains and student leaders. Afterwards, at Tenison Woods College, the Governor met Mr David Mezinec, Principal, and Mrs Tania Sigley, Director of Wellbeing; and spoke to student leaders.

In the afternoon, at the Mount Gambier Civic Centre, the Governor met Mrs Lynette Martin OAM, Mayor, and Ms Sarah Philpott, Chief Executive Officer, City of Mount Gambier; and Mrs Kylie Boston, Mayor, and Mr Darryl Whicker, Chief Executive Officer, District Council of Grant, followed by a luncheon.

Afterwards, at St Martin’s Lutheran College, the Governor met Mr Alan Connah, Principal, and spoke to staff and student leaders.

Later, the Governor met with Mr Matthew Dixon, President, and Mr Stuart Stansfield, Treasurer, Ryder-Cheshire Mount Gambier Home Foundation, of which the Governor is patron, and was briefed on operations before departing for Adelaide.

During the day, students from Trinity College Roseworthy toured Government House.
