On Sunday morning, the Governor departed Adelaide for an official visit to the South East.

In the afternoon, at Centenary Park, Lucindale, the Governor took part in the ceremony to dedicate a memorial to the late Brevet Sergeant Jason Doig PBM LEM, and, together with his mother, Mrs Faye Edwards, unveiled a memorial plaque.

In the evening, at the Mount Gambier RSL & District Bowling Club, the Governor met Mr Bob Sandow, President, Mount Gambier Community RSL, where she toured the facility, followed by dinner with members of the RSL. The Governor is patron of the Returned and Services League (RSL) of Australia SA/NT Branch.
