On Monday morning, at the Adelaide Showgrounds, Her Excellency the Governor, as patron of the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society of South Australia Inc, accompanied by Mr Rod Bunten, toured the 2026 Royal Adelaide Show, viewed the Horticulture Exhibition, Urrbrae Agricultural Learning Centre, and Sheep Pavillion, helped judge the Scarecrow Competition, and had morning tea with South Australian Country Women’s Association (SACWA) members at the SACWA Country Café. The Governor is patron of SACWA. 

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted the first of two receptions for Secondary School Student Representatives.
