On Saturday Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten continued their official Vice-Regal visit to the United Kingdom and Japan to promote South Australia.

In the morning in Oxford, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended a morning tea at the University College Boathouse, Oxford. There, they met with South Australian Rhodes Scholars and South Australian’s studying in Oxford. They then viewed the Michaelmas Novice Regatta 2022 and Her Excellency joined Australia VIII for a row.

Also in Oxford, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended a lunch with the Warden of Rhodes House, Dr Elizabeth Kiss and Mr Jeff Holzgrefe; and met with Dr Natalia Efremova, Founder and CTO, Deep Planet.

In the evening in London, the Governor and Mr Bunten met with The Honourable David Ridgway, Agent General for South Australia, and Mr Tarquin Glavimans, Department for Foreign Affairs and Trade, before departing for Tokyo.
