On Sunday morning at Victor Harbour, Her Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten and Ms Sophie Bunten, attended the 2023 Winter Whale Festival Official Opening and the Ramindjeri Welcoming the Whales and Smoking Ceremony.

Later, at the Granite Island Causeway, the Governor, Mr Bunten and Ms Bunten undertook a tour of Kondoli – The Whale Journey to Granite Island, part of the 2023 Winter Whale Festival.

Afterwards, at Prospect Oval, the Governor, as patron of the South Australian National Football League (SANFL), accompanied by Ms Bunten, attended the SANFL Women’s League Pre-Match Function and tossed the coin at the 2023 Grand Final.

In the morning at Christ Church North Adelaide, Dr James Muecke AM, Lieutenant Governor, read the Epistle at the Annual Choral Eucharist.
