On Thursday morning, at the Adelaide Convention Centre, Her Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, officially opened the 2025 Wake Up to Change Adelaide White Ribbon Breakfast.

Afterwards, the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later, in Semaphore, the Governor and Mr Bunten visited Le Fevre High School, where the Governor presented leadership pins to the 2026 Student Leaders, and, afterwards, spoke to staff and students.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception to welcome athletes and officials attending the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) Beach Volleyball World Championships.

Afterwards, at the Hilton Adelaide, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, delivered the welcome address and presented awards at the Apprentice Employment Network SA’s (AEN SA) 2025 Gala Dinner. The Governor is Patron of the AEN SA.

During the day, staff and students from Youth Education Centre toured Government House.
