On Thursday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor’s Deputy presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, in Canberra, accompanied by Mr Rod Bunten, Mr Matthew Bunten, Ms Katherine Bunten, the Honourable Christine Adamson, and Mr Stuart Adamson, in recognition of her “exceptional contribution to Australian diplomacy and Foreign Affairs”, Her Excellency the Governor was admitted to the degree of Doctor of Laws (honoris causa) of the Australian National University and delivered an address to the gathering.
