On Thursday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received The Honourable Steven Marshall MP, Premier of South Australia.

Afterwards the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later at Osborne Naval Shipyard, the Governor attended the official launch ceremony for 'Arafura' Offshore Patrol Vessel organised by Luerssen Australia and Department of Defence.

In the afternoon and evening at the Adelaide Oval, the Governor, as patron of the South Australian Cricket Association, and Mr Bunten attended the Day One of the Vodafone Day/Night Ashes Series Test Match, Australia v England.
