On Wednesday Her Excellency the Governor continued her Vice Regal visit to the south-east.

In the morning the Governor visited the Robe Town Entrance Statement and was briefed on the new structure, followed by a breakfast at The Adventurous Spoon with Ms Alison Nunn, Mayor and Mr James Holyman, Chief Executive Officer, District Council of Robe, and community members.

Afterwards the Governor toured the Robe RSL, the Robe Soldier's Memorial Kindergarten, visited the Robe Golf Club and viewed the World War II Radar Huts, and visited Transmutation and toured the plastic recycling workshop and retail outlet.

Later the Governor unveiled a plaque, placed a wreath and addressed the gathering at the Robe War Memorial Centenary Commemorative Service, followed by a luncheon organised by the Returned and Services League Australia - Robe Sub-Branch, before returning to Adelaide in the evening.

In the evening at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception to thank those who supported Her Excellency taking office as the 36th Governor in and over the State of South Australia.

Later at the River Torrens, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the Adelaide University Boat Club's Christmas celebrations.
