On Thursday morning, Her Excellency the Governor departed Ho Chi Minh City for Manila.

In the afternoon in Manila, the Governor met Her Excellency Ms HK Yu PSM, Australian Ambassador to the Philippines.

Afterwards, the Governor met Mr Dennis Marasigan, Vice President of the Cultural Centre of the Philippines.  The Governor was accompanied by the Ambassador and Mr Taliessin Reaburn, Department of State Development.

Later, the Governor met Mr Stanley Ng, President and Chief Operating Officer, Philippine Airlines. The Governor was accompanied by Mr Jonathan Cheong, Head of Aviation Business Development, Adelaide Airport, Mr Reaburn, and Ms Natalya Twohill, Department of State Development,

In the evening, at the Ambassador’s Residence, the Governor addressed the guests at an event to celebrate Philippines-Australia Friendship Day.

Also in the morning, the Governor’s Deputy presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.
