On Thursday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor and Mr Bunten, as joint patrons of SIDS and Kids South Australia, received Mr James Frearson-Lea, President of the Board, and Ms Liza Jankowski, Chief Executive Officer.

Later the Governor visited the RSL Care SA War Veterans Home at Myrtle Bank, where she toured the premises, followed by morning tea with staff and residents.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor received Mr Jon Whelan, Chief Executive Officer, Department for Infrastructure and Transport.

Later the Governor and Mr Bunten received Sue, Glynne and Peter Ryan, followed by an afternoon tea.

Also in the afternoon, Mr Bunten received Ms Kiri Hagenus, Director, and Ms Alys Jackson, Business Development Manager, Children's University Australasia and Africa (Indian Ocean).

In the evening at the State Library of South Australia, the Governor addressed the guests and presented awards at the 2022 awards presentation ceremony for the Royal Geographical Society of South Australia, of which she and Mr Bunten are joint patrons.
