On Thursday morning, Her Excellency the Governor presided over a meeting of Executive Council.

Afterwards, at Edwardstown, the Governor and Mr Bunten visited Kytons Bakery, where they toured the facility and were briefed on operations as part of a series of visits to iconic South Australian businesses.

Later, at Government House, the Governor received His Excellency Mr Nagesh Singh, High Commissioner for India; Ms Irina Thakur, Deputy High Commissioner for India; Mr Niravkumar B. Sutariya, Acting Consul-General of India in Sydney; and Ms Padma Karri, First Secretary, High Commission of India. 

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a dinner to mark 10 years of service as Official Secretary to the Governor by Mr Hugh Borrowman LVO. Guests were Mr Hugh Borrowman and Ms Suzanne Marley; The Honourable Hieu Van Le AC and Mrs Lan Le OAM; Commissioner Grant Stevens APM LEM and Mrs Emma Stevens; His Honour Judge Rauf Soulio AM and Ms Katherine Koh; Mr Rick Persse AM and Mrs Davina Lloyd; Professor John Williams AM, and Dr Wendy Riemens; Mr Douglas Gautier AM; Mr John Schutz and Mrs Annette Schutz; Mr Alan Smith and Mr Daryl Anderson; Mrs Didy McLaurin AM; Mrs Joan Lyons AM; Mr Vince Ciccarello OAM; Mr Kenneth Watkins AM; and Ms Bronwyn Jolly LVO.

The grounds of Government House will be open to the public today (Friday, April 4) from noon until 2.00pm for Lunch on the Lawns, including a garden tour conducted by The Friends of the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide, of which the Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons, and music provided by the City of Adelaide Concert Band.
