On Wednesday morning, as part of her program of school visits, Her Excellency the Governor visited Sports College SA, where she met Mr Matthew Daly, Principal, and Mr Cameron Hancock, Lead Teacher, and spoke with staff and students. 

In the afternoon, the Governor received Rhodes and Sir John Monash Foundation scholars, followed by a luncheon. Present were Dr Lachlan Arthur, Ms Amy Dennison, Ms Gia-Yen Luong, Dr Claudia Paul, and Dr Jenny Tran, and Professor John Williams and Ms Janine Shearer representing, respectively, Rhodes Scholarships for Soth Australia and the General Sir John Monash Foundation.  The Governor is Chair of the Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee for South Australia and patron of the General Sir John Monash Foundation.

Afterwards, the Governor received the Honorary Consul of Nepal, Mr Dipak Dhamala, and members of the Nepali community. 

Later again, the Governor and Mr Bunten received members of the Coober Pedy Together Facilitation Group.  They were: Ms Chantelle Bamford, Mr George Boussios, Ms Jaqueline Boland, Ms Chantelle Bamford, Mr Michael Edgecombe, Mr Nick Farantouris, Mr Garry Herdegen, Mr Daniel Measey, Ms Patricia Turner, Mr Dean Walker, and Mr David Wood. 

In the evening, the Governor hosted a reception to celebrate the 150th anniversary of philanthropy for the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Bunten received Mr Jeff Knispel and Mr Ben Knispel, Joint Managing Directors, Knispel Group - Nippy’s, followed by a dinner.
