In the morning, Her Excellency the Governor departed Adelaide for a visit to the Tatiara District Council, where, at Tintinara Area School, she met Ms Kathleen McGuire, Principal, and Master Hunter Johnston, SRC President, toured the school and spoke with students and staff.
Afterwards, at the Henry and Rose Café in Keith, the Governor was briefed over luncheon by Ms Liz Goossens, Mayor, and Mr Kingsley Green, Chief Executive Officer, Tatiara District Council.
Later, at Keith Area School, the Governor met Mrs Jacqui Vandeleur, Principal, and Miss Emma Lambert, SRC President, toured the school and spoke with students and staff.
Afterwards, the Governor visited Beyond Words Bookshop and met the owner, Ms Sally Lush, and, later, The Purple Paddock community shop, where she met Ms Di Day, Secretary.
The Governor then inspected the Don Moseley Park Playground redevelopment accompanied by Ms Sarah Secker and Mrs Maureen Oliver, Committee Members, before departing for Bordertown.
In the evening, at The Woolshed Inn, the Governor hosted a dinner for Tatiara District Council representatives.
