On Thursday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Mrs Erma Ranieri PSM, Commissioner of Public Sector Employment.

Afterwards the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon at the Adelaide Showground, the Governor, as patron of the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society of South Australia, accompanied by Mr Bunten and Ms Sophie Bunten, visited the Royal Adelaide Show where they toured the exhibits and met with cattle industry representatives.

In the evening also at the Adelaide Showground, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten and Ms Sophie Bunten, addressed the guests and presented awards at the Merino SA Centenary Event.

Later at Government House, the Governor, Mr Bunten and Ms Sophie Bunten, received His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret'd), Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley, followed by a dinner.
