On Thursday morning Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten visited The St Vincent de Paul Society (SA)’s Women's Crisis Centre at Clearview, followed by a visit to the Elizabeth Hub, where the Governor thanked volunteers, as part of a series of visits to industry.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten received Lieutenant General Rick Burr AC DSC MVO, Chief of Army; Lieutenant Colonel John Daunt, Chief of Staff, 9^th Brigade; Captain Elizabeth Wallace, 9^th Combat Service Support Battalion; Captain Morgan Greenlees, Aide de Camp to Chief of Army; and Warrant Officer Grant McFarlane AM, Regimental Sergeant Major, followed by a luncheon.

Later in Adelaide, the Governor and Mr Bunten toured the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute, of which the Governor is patron, and were briefed on operations.

In the evening in Adelaide, the Governor, as patron of the Royal Commonwealth Society - South Australian Branch, accompanied by Mr Bunten, addressed the guests at the Seasonal Dinner to celebrate The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
