On Tuesday morning at Adelaide Oval, Her Excellency the Governor participated in JusticeNet SA’s 2026 Walk for Justice.

Afterwards, as part of her program of school visits, the Governor visited Para Hills High School, where she spoke with students and staff.

Also in the morning, Mr Bunten undertook voluntary work with Meals on Wheels.

Later, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a luncheon at which the guests were: Commissioner Erma Ranieri PSM, Commissioner for Public Sector Employment; Commissioner Cameron Baker, Chair, South Australian Skills Commission; Mr Rick Persse AM, Chief Executive, Department of the Premier and Cabinet; Ms Katherine Bennell-Pegg, 2026 Australian of the Year; Mr Will Rayner, Chair and President, South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) and Chief Executive Officer, Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society of South Australia; Mr Richard Barrett, Chief Executive, Industry Leaders Fund; Ms Sarah Cutbush, Chief Executive Officer, Leaders Institute of South Australia; Mrs Jess Adamson, Journalist, The Advertiser; Ms Nicolle Rantanen Reynolds, SA Chapter Lead, Minerva Network; Professor John Williams AM, Co-State Secretary, Rhodes Scholarships in Australia, Deputy Vice Chancellor – Academic, Adelaide University; and Mr Lincoln Rieger, Assistant Chief Commissioner – Youth, Scouts SA. The Governor is patron of SACA, the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society of South Australia, and the Leaders Institute of South Australia, and Chief Scout.

Afterwards, the Governor received members of a water delegation from the Asian Development Bank and the Government of Madhya Pradesh, India.

Afterwards, the Governor received Ms Paule Ignatio, Consul-General of France and Mrs Marcia McLachlan, Honorary Consul of France, followed by a reception to acknowledge the Prix du Civisme.

Afterwards, at the Adelaide Town Hall, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended a performance of ‘Schubert’s Fantasy and Octet’ by the Australian Chamber Orchestra.
