On Tuesday, at Adelaide Oval, Her Excellency the Governor in the morning hosted a Governor’s Roundtable and, in the afternoon, addressed the guests at the Department for Education’s 2026 Active Citizenship Convention.
In the afternoon, the Governor hosted a luncheon for the No Strings Attached Theatre of Disability. Guests were Sarah Andrews MP, Assistant Minister for Arts, Representing the Minister for Arts; The Honourable Michelle Lensink MLC, Shadow Minister for Human Services, Representing the Shadow Minister for Arts; Ms Lauren Hillman, General Manager, Channel 44, and Board Member, South Australian Film Corporation; Ms Alexandra Hurford, Board Member, Access2Arts, Representing the Chief Executive Officer, Access2Art; Ms Petra Kalive, Artistic Director and Chief Executive Officer, State Theatre Company; Ms Lisa Lanzi, Co-Chair, No Strings Attached Theatre of Disability; Ms Sarah McLean, Senior Advisor, Diversity and Inclusion, ABC; Ms Julie Moralee, Chief Executive Officer, Restless Dance Theatre; Ms Tricia Ryan, Co-Chair, No Strings Attached Theatre of Disability; Ms Leanne Saunders, Acting Chief Executive Officer, South Australian Film Corporation; Dr Kari Seeley, Chief Executive Officer, No Strings Attached Theatre of Disability; and Ms Linda Williams, Executive Director, Tutti Arts.
Later, at Government House, the Governor received Lord John Spellar of Smethwick, UK Trade Envoy for Australia and Ms Sunny Ahmed, Acting British Consul General.
In the evening, the Governor hosted a reception for the presentation of certificates to graduates from the Marjorie Jackson-Nelson Centre for Women’s Sport Program.
