On Tuesday Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten continued their official Vice-Regal visit to the United Kingdom and Japan to promote South Australia.

In the morning in Tokyo, the Governor attended a breakfast hosted by the Australia and New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Japan.

Later the Governor met with Mr Takayuki Ueda, President and Chief Executive Officer, Inpex; Mr Hitoshi Okawa, Managing Executive Officer, Senior Vice President, Oceania Projects, General Manager, President Director Australia; Mr Tetsu Murayama, Executive Officer, Senior Vice President, Oceania Projects, Deputy General Manager, Senior Vice President Corporate; and Mr Tsutomu Muraoka, General Manager, Commercial Coordination Unit, Oceania Project Division.

Afterwards the Governor met with Her Excellency Ms Yuriko Koike, Governor of Okayama, followed by a lunch hosted by His Excellency Mr Peter Roberts OAM, Australian Chargé d’Affaires to Japan.

In the afternoon the Governor met with Mr Hiroshi Kimura, General Manager, and Mr Yukio Awazu, Senior Manager, Hydrogen Gas Department.

Later the Governor met with Mr Nagamine Makoto, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Economy, Trade and Industry.

Afterwards the Governor visited Jissen Joshi High School and addressed students.

In the evening the Governor addressed Tokyo Jisedai Students at a function hosted by His Excellency Mr Peter Roberts OAM.

Afterwards the Governor attended a reception for the South Australia Club.

In Adelaide, during the day a function was held in the grounds of Government House for the Murray Bridge Preschool Kindergarten.
