On Wednesday morning, in Coffin Bay, Her Excellency the Governor met Mrs Jo-Anne Quigley, Mayor, Lower Eyre Council and elected members for a briefing on the council, before departing for Port Lincoln.

Afterwards, at the West Coast Youth and Community Support Centre in Port Lincoln, the Governor met Mr Shaun Rieck, Chief Executive Officer, and Ms Lain Montgomerie, Community Development Officer, Mentally Fit EP, and was briefed on the Mentally Fit EP program.

Later, the Governor spoke by telephone to Ms Diana Mislov, Mayor, City of Port Lincoln, before returning to Adelaide.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor participated in a roundtable discussion on Civics and Citizenship with 2025 Governor’s Civics Awards for Schools Student Awardees.

Afterwards, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception for the presentation of the 2025 Governor’s Civics Awards for Schools.

In the evening, at The Gov, the Governor and Mr Bunten, accompanied by Mr Ian Bunten and Mrs Judith Bunten, attended a performance by Hothouse Flowers.
