On Thursday, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten undertook a visit to the City of Norwood, Payneham and St Peters, where, at the Norwood Town Hall, they met with Mr Robert Bria, Mayor, and Mr Mario Barone PSM, Chief Executive Officer, and Mrs Jane Reilly OAM, Food Secrets Ambassador, City of Norwood, Payneham, St Peters; who accompanied the Governor and Mr Bunten during their visit.

Afterwards, at Glynde, the Governor and Mr Bunten met Mr Pasquale Clemente, Owner, 1645 Coffee Roasters, and later, at Stepney, Mr Joe Quinzi and Mrs Antonetta Quinzi, owners, Quinzi’s Confectionary, in each case touring the facility and sampling the products.

In the afternoon, at Felixstow, the Governor and Mr Bunten met Mr Danniel Amadio, Managing Director, and Mr Michael Calderisi, Sales and Marketing, Amadio Wines, took part in a wine tasting and a lunch hosted by the Council.

Later, at Felixstow Reserve, the Governor and Mr Bunten met Mr Jared Barnes, City General Manager of Infrastructure & Major Projects, and Mr Paul Munaitya Herzich, Kaurna/Ngarrindjeri Landscape Architect and Public Artist, and viewed the facilities and the five Kaurna cultural markers designed by Mr Herzich.

Afterwards, at Payneham, the Governor and Mr Bunten met Mr Michael Moshos, City Project Manager (Civil), and viewed the Payneham Memorial Swimming Centre redevelopment.

Later, at the St Peters Town Hall, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended an afternoon tea with elected members and council volunteers, before returning to Government House.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor spoke by telephone to Ms Sue Scarman, Mayor of the Northern Areas Council.

Later, the Governor hosted an afternoon tea for Members of the Order of Malta.

In the evening, at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended a dinner hosted by Illuminate Adelaide, followed by a viewing of Night Visions.
