On Wednesday morning, at Mannum, Her Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, visited Mannum Community College for a tour of the school and conversation with the students and staff.
Afterwards, at Glenelg, the Governor met with City of Holdfast Bay and Kaurna Elders to discuss the 187th Proclamation Ceremony. Afterwards, at Glenelg, the Governor met with Ms Amanda Wilson, Mayor, City of Holdfast Bay and Kaurna Elders. Other attendees included Ms Marnie Lock, General Manager, Community and Business, Ms Julia Garnaut, Curator, History and Exhibitions, and Ms Frances Rogers, Art and Culture Coordinator, City of Holdfast Bay; and Senior Kaurna Elders Ms Lynette Crocker and Ms Merle Simpson.
In the evening, at St Francis Xavier Cathedral, Adelaide, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the Ecumenical Prayer Service for Peace in Israel and the Palestinian Territories.
Afterwards, at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the Paul McCartney ‘Got Back’ concert.
