On Wednesday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Mrs Geraldine Hawkes, State President, and Mr Clinton Jury, Chief Executive Officer, The St Vincent de Paul Society (SA).

Afterwards, the Governor hosted a luncheon to acknowledge Mr Leigh Garrett, Former Chief Executive Officer, OARS Community Transitions. Guests were Mrs Lea Garrett; Mr David Brown PSM, Chief Executive, Department for Correctional Services; Ms Annabel Shinkfield, Chair, OARS Community Transitions; Ms Louise Kelly, Chief Executive Officer, OARS Community Transitions; and Ms Alison Carroll, Former Executive Assistant, OARS Community Transitions. The Governor is patron of OARS Community Transitions.

Later, the Governor received Ms Shona Reid, Guardian for Children and Young People.

Afterwards, the Governor received Ms Tania Potts, Chief Executive Officer, Zahra Foundation Australia. The Governor is patron of the Zahra Foundation Australia.
