On Wednesday, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten continued their official visit to Aṉangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY Lands), where, in the morning at Mimili Aṉangu School, they met Mr Will Kearvell, Principal, viewed the school’s morning fitness session with students, and joined staff in taking a whole of school library session.

Later, at Mimili, the Governor and Mr Bunten met Ms Anna Wattler, Art Centre Manager, Mimili Maku Arts Centre, where they toured the gallery and received a briefing before departing for Kaltjiti.

Afterwards, at Kaltjiti, the Governor and Mr Bunten met Mr Warren Richards-Kilholm, Manager, Kaltjiti Arts, where they toured the gallery and received a briefing.

Later, the Governor and Mr Bunten met Ms Sara Porzio, Principal, and Mrs Dani Tidswell, Early Years Leader, Fregon Aṉangu School, where they received a briefing, followed by lunch.

In the afternoon, at the Nganampa Health Council – Fregon Clinic, the Governor and Mr Bunten met Ms Sue Haines, Health Service Manager, Nganampa Health Council, where they toured the clinic and received a briefing.

Later, at the Fregon Police Station, the Governor and Mr Bunten met Senior Sergeant Jye Kluske, Training & Development Coordinator, Far North Local Service Area, South Australia Police, where they toured the new facility and received a briefing.

Afterwards, at the Fregon Store, the Governor and Mr Bunten met Mr Mark Greenshields, and APY Land Management Rangers, and viewed the Ranges work, before departing for Umuwa.

In the evening, at the APY Training and Trade Centre, Umuma, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended a dinner hosted by the Department for Education and the APY Training and Trade Centre.
