On Wednesday morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received The Honourable Reggie Martin MLC, President of the Legislative Council.

Afterwards, the Governor received The Honourable Nat Cook MP, Speaker of the House of Assembly.

Later, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor, as Chair of the South Australian Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee, convened the final interviews for the selection of the 2027 Rhodes Scholar for South Australia and hosted the announcement of the successful candidate.

In the evening, at the Adelaide Town Hall, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten addressed the guests, and, afterwards, as joint patrons of the UNESCO Clubs – Adelaide Chapter, presented the 2026 Adelaide Awards.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten received Mr Brenton Woolston, Managing Director, Almondco Australia, and Mrs Jane Woolston, followed by a dinner.
