On Wednesday morning, Her Excellency the Governor departed Qingdao for Beijing, where she met with His Excellency Mr Scott Dewar, Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, and afterwards, attended a luncheon for members of the Australian business community hosted by His Excellency.

Afterwards, the Governor met with Mr Wang Shouwen, Vice Minister of Commerce.

Later, the Governor attended a roundtable discussion convened to promote South Australian wine.

In the evening, at the Australian Embassy, the Governor addressed the guests at a reception hosted by Ambassador Dewar to mark Her Excellency’s visit.

In the evening at the National War Memorial, Adelaide, His Excellency Dr Richard Harris, as Governor’s Deputy, and Mrs Fiona Harris, attended the Anzac Eve Youth Vigil Memorial Ceremony, inspected the Youth Guard and toured the Memorial precinct.
