On Wednesday morning, Her Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, visited Pulteney Grammar School where she addressed and took questions from the students.

Afterwards, at Government House, Her Excellency, together with Deputy Commissioner Linda Williams APM, Deputy Commissioner, South Australia Police and Major General Susan Coyle AM CSC DSM, Commander Forces Command, Australian Army, co-chaired a Women in Defence Leadership Forum for members of the Australian Defence Force.

In the afternoon, the Governor, as patron of the Naval Association of Australia – South Australian Section, received Mrs Cheryl Fittock, President, The Naval Association of Australia – South Australian Section.

Later, at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI), Mr Bunten attended the Jennifer Cashmore Oration: ‘From Asylums to Community Care and Beyond – Human Rights and Mental Health: Lessons from History’, presented by the History Trust of South Australia.

In the evening, at Norwood, the Governor addressed the guests and presented awards at the Zonta Young Leaders Graduation.
