On Saturday morning, in the grounds of Government House, Her Excellency the Governor hosted a morning tea for Down Syndrome Australia to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day.

Afterwards, at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, the Governor attended the Suncorp Super Netball Match: Adelaide Thunderbirds v Melbourne Vixens. The Governor is patron of Netball SA.

In the evening, at the Adelaide Festival Centre, the Governor, accompanied by Ms Sarah Alpers, attended the opening night of ‘The Dictionary of Lost Words’, performed by the State Theatre Company South Australia.
