In the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received The Honourable Nick Champion MP, Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Minister for Housing Infrastructure, and Minister for Planning.

Afterwards, the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later, as part of their program of school visits, the Governor and Mr Bunten visited Indie School – Elizabeth, where they spoke with students and staff.

In the afternoon, at Verdun, the Governor and Mr Bunten, as Patron of Lions Assistance Dogs, attended the Lions Assistance Dogs National Training Centre Redevelopment and Sod-Turning Ceremony, where Mr Bunten addressed guests before he and the Governor officially turned the first sod.

Afterwards, at the Adelaide Festival Centre, the Governor was interviewed by Mr Rick Persse AM, Chief Executive, Department of the Premier and Cabinet, and took part in a question-and-answer session at the Chief Executives Forum.

Later, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception to thank COTA SA volunteers. The Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons of COTA SA.
