On Thursday morning, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a breakfast for The Right Honourable Maria Eagle MP, UK Minister for Defence Procurement and Industry, Dame Sarah MacIntosh DCMG, British High Commissioner to Australia, and Mr Peter Greenwood, Assistant Private Secretary to the Minister.

Afterwards, the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later, at Heathfield, the Governor and Mr Bunten visited Heathfield High School, where they spoke to students and staff.

Afterwards, at Verdun, the Governor and Mr Bunten visited the Australian Lions Hearing Dogs National Training Centre, where they toured the facility and were briefed on operations. Mr Bunten is patron of Australian Lions Hearing Dogs.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor received The Right Honourable Maria Eagle MP, Dame Sarah MacIntosh DCMG, Vice Admiral Sir Chris Gardner KBE, Chief Executive Officer, Submarine Delivery Agency, Mr Frankie Page, Private Secretary to the Minister, and Mr Matt Opie, Chief Executive, Defence SA.

Afterwards, the Governor and Mr Bunted hosted a reception for the presentation for the Department for Education’s Dame Roma Mitchell Scholarships and the Chief Executive’s Reconciliation Awards.

Later, at the Art Gallery of South Australia (AGSA), the Governor and Mr Bunten viewed the Ramsay Art Prize 2025 exhibition. The Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons of AGSA.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a dinner to acknowledge the contribution of Mr Douglas Gautier AM to the South Australian Arts Community. Guests were Mr Douglas Gautier AM, Chief Executive Officer and Artistic Director, Adelaide Festival Centre, and Ms Carmen Chan; The Honourable Legh Davis, Patron, Adelaide Festival Centre Foundation, Former Chair, Adelaide Festival Centre Foundation Board, and Mrs Helen Davis; Mr Richard Ryan AO, Former Chair, Adelaide Festival Centre Trust, and Mrs Trish Ryan; Dr Don Wilson and Mrs Leonie Wilson; Miss Bronwyn Gautier, and Miss Evelyn Gautier.

During the day, students from Pooraka Primary School toured Government House.
