On Wednesday, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Mr Cameron Stokes, State Manager and Australian Electoral Officer for South Australia, Mr Paul Hawes, Director of Operations, and Ms Jennifer Everett, Branch Support Officer, Australian Electoral Commission South Australia, for the Returning of the Writ for the election of Senators for South Australia.

Later, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception for the 2025 Santos Wheelchair Rugby World Challenge.

Afterwards, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a dinner for His Excellency Mr Kim Tae-heum, Governor of Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea and members of his delegation. Guests were Mr Seong Jea Moon, President, Sun Moon University; Mr Sung Chung Hwang, Vice President, Korea Midland Power Co Ltd; from the Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Government: Mr Joo Young Yoon, Mr Byong Hun Song, Mr Jin Sik Jeon, and Mr Seoung Hong Nam; Mr Tim Whetstone MP, Shadow Minister for Trade, Industry and Investment; Mr Simon Tamke, Chief Commercial Officer, Thomas Foods International; Mr Tim White, Department of State Development; and Mr Mark Horton, Department of the Premier and Cabinet.

In the evening, The Right Honourable Maria Eagle MP, UK Minister for Defence Procurement and Industry, Dame Sarah MacIntosh DCMG, British High Commissioner to Australia, and Mr Peter Greenwood, Assistant Private Secretary to the Minister, arrived to stay at Government House.
