In the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received Mr Greg Moriarty AO, Head of Mission designate Washington, and Mr Andrew Martine, US Global Issues Section, DFAT.

Afterwards, the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Later, as part of their program of school visits, the Governor and Mr Bunten visited Hope Christian College, where they spoke with students and staff.

In the evening, at Her Majesty’s Theatre, the Governor and Mr Bunten, attended the Opening Night performance of the State Opera of South Australia’s ‘Cinderella – La Cenerentola’, and, afterwards, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Bunten, delivered a speech at the post show celebration. The Governor and Mr Bunten are joint patrons of the State Opera of South Australia.
