On Tuesday morning, at Davoren Park, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten visited Compass Catholic Community, where they toured the school and spoke to students and staff.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor and Mr Bunten received Mr Ian Smith, Co-Chair, Aboriginal Veterans SA, and Mrs Deb Smith, followed by a luncheon.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception for the presentation of the Lions Club of the City of Adelaide’s Lions Children of Courage Awards. The Governor is Honorary Member of the Lions Club.

Later, the Governor and Mr Bunten received Ms Kath Mainland CBE and Mr Ray Mainland.

In the evening, at The Odeon Theatre, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended the Australian Dance Theatre’s opening night performance of ‘Two Blood’.
