On Wednesday morning, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten continued their official visit to the District Council of Mount Remarkable, the Flinders Ranges Council, and the Outback Communities Authority, where, at Nilpena Ediacara National Park Visitor Centre, they met Mr Kym Geue, Park Ranger, who conducted them on a tour.
In the afternoon, at the Royal Victoria Hotel, Beltana, the Governor and Mr Bunten met Mrs Jan Ferguson OAM, Presiding Member, and Ms Janelle Greatbatch, Executive Officer, Outback Communities Authority, followed by a luncheon, and, afterwards, met Mr Chris Ferguson, who escorted them on a tour of the Beltana Community Hall, before departing for Copley.

Later, at the Copley Community Hall, the Governor and Mr Bunten met Ms Helen McLeod Chairperson, Copley Progress Association, and Ms Theres Bertram, Secretary, Copley Progress Association and Board Member, Outback Communities Authority, and attended an afternoon tea with community members, before departing for Leigh Creek.

In the evening, at the Leigh Creek Outback Resort restaurant, the Governor and Mr Bunten attended a dinner hosted by the Outback Communities Authority.
