On Wednesday morning at Government House, Her Excellency the Governor received His Excellency Dr Justin Lee, Australian High Commissioner to Malaysia; Dr Evelyn Yap, President, Australia Malaysia Business Council, SA Chapter; Mr Richard Kwan, Chief Executive Officer, Kiratech; Mr Rishen Shekhar, Director, Global Recruitment & Engagement, University of South Australia; Mr Simon Brown, Managing Director, Resource Co; Mr Peter Cox, Managing Director, Gelista; Mr Daniel Scalzi, Vice President Sales, Asia Pacific at Codan; Mr Matt Clarke, Manager, Business Development, SACE International; and Mr Timothy Toh, Migration Consultant, Kitson Migration Advisory, followed by a breakfast.

Afterwards the Governor received, individually, The Honourable Dan Cregan MP, Speaker of the House of Assembly; The Honourable Terry Stephens MLC, President of the Legislative Council; and Ms Adelle Neary, Consul-General, Chengdu, China, and Mr Anthony Aspden, Consul-General Designate, Guangzhou, China.

Later the Governor and Mr Bunten received an official call from The Right Honourable The Lord Mayor of Adelaide, Dr Jane Lomax-Smith AM, and members of the newly elected Adelaide City Council.

In the afternoon at Adelaide Oval, the Governor and Mr Bunten, attended the 2022 Adelaide Test Match Luncheon, hosted by the Carbine Club of South Australia.

Later at Government House, the Governor received Ms Joan Russell OAM, Outgoing President, and Ms Tass Schmidt, Incoming President, International Women's Day Association SA.

In the evening the Governor and Mr Bunten hosted a reception for the presentation of the 2022 Gladys Elphick Awards.
